RED CANYON SENTINEL - VALUE PRINTS

Red Canyon is located along Scenic Byway 12, nine miles outside of Bryce Canyon. Because Red Canyon is part of Dixie National Forest, rather than a national park or monument, there is no fee to enter the canyon.

I was inspired to paint this perspective from a hiking trip to Red Canyon a number of years ago. This red rock monolith and the surrounding landscape is stunning to see.

I’ve added an eagle flying overhead and some bold light to the red rocks and foreground intending to highlight and add interest to this scene.
