SHIPPING AND RETURNS POLICY

  • “Value Prints” prices include shipping inside the USA for all sizes as specified.

    All prices for “non value prints” art products “INCLUDE” shipping and handling ( except for 24” x 36” and larger paintings, artist prints, and frames sold separately ) to the lower 48 ( USA ) states only.

    We usually don’t ship internationally, except for value prints, which are available in more than 30 different countries.

    Please contact us regarding shipping costs to Alaska, Hawaii, internationally (if you’d like an international shipping quote), and for 24” x 36” and larger paintings, artist prints, and frames sold separately by completing the “LARGE PRODUCT SHIPPING QUOTE FORM” on the “Product Page” you are interested in and we will investigate and respond.

  • Orders usually ship within 5-7 business days after processing. Added holiday workload may add additional time so please order early!

    Please allow an additional (approximate) 2-7 business days for the shipper (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or other), to deliver it to you. Note: “Value Prints” are shipped from the closest manufacturer to or in the particular country being shipped to.

    When your order ships you will receive notification via email with your tracking number. Alaska and Hawaii orders will take longer to be delivered.

    If you want MJSFA to require a signature upon delivery please request a “signature upon delivery” in the “comments section” when providing your shipping and contact information for the order. Otherwise, all orders are shipped without requiring a signature upon delivery.

    Commission paintings and custom order shipping dates vary and will be discussed and agreed upon with the purchaser prior to engagement.

  • MJSFA is not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or other).

    All orders are shipped based on the shipping information you provide.

    If your package is marked “DELIVERED” and yet is nowhere to be found on your doorstep, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address.

    We are unable to replace any order for free if the shipping address is incorrect.

    This does happen occasionally, and it is not uncommon to have the package returned to our studio or to our printer.

    If that is the case, we are more than happy to forward it to your correct address, though we ask that you pay for the additional shipping costs.

    If the address is correct and you believe your package to have been lost or stolen, you must contact the shipping service personally using the tracking information provided upon shipment.

    Unfortunately, there isn’t anything we can do on our end, so we are unable to address any “failed delivery” or “theft” issues directly. We are unable to replace or reprint any order for free that has been “not-delivered”, “lost”, or “stolen”.

  • MJSFA is not liable for any damage incurred “post-delivery”.

    We work hard to package each order with care so that it arrives undamaged.

    We are unable to replace for free any art damaged after delivery, so please place your artwork in a place away from possible water or heat damage, and handle the artwork with care when framing, stretching and hanging.

    When your artwork is delivered, if you notice any damage to the box, please take a photo of the damage before opening and then open the box in front of the carrier ( if possible ).

    If there is damage to the artwork, please photograph any damage to the artwork, refuse the shipment ( if possible ), and text or call (435) 660-1886 or email ( mjsfa@mikeseelyart.com ) MJSFA within 48 hours at (435) 660-1886.

    Be sure both you and the carrier document the damage ( if possible ), and that you provide said documentation and photos to MJSFA straightaway. 

    If the product is damaged during shipping and you provide documentation of the damage ( as referred to above ), MJSFA will replace the order at no additional charge if it is a print. If it is an original, it cannot be replaced, but we may be able to repair the damage or make an insurance claim on the damage at our expense.

    Please contact us and let’s work together on resolving the issue to your satisfaction.

    Please be kind when reaching out and remember that we do not run the post office, UPS, FedEx, etc., and we have no control over the treatment of your package in transit!

    It’s just as much of a bummer for us to see damaged products as it is for you to receive them.

  • Customer satisfaction is a high priority for MJSFA. We believe that you will absolutely love your new artwork which can literally provide a lifetime of enjoyment.

    Before purchasing a large painting you should measure your wall space to be sure you'll be happy with the fit.

    MJSFA include a quality guarantee on all prints and originals and will replace them if you can document a quality flaw upon receipt of your purchase. Your request must be submitted within 5 business days of receipt of your purchase.

    ORIGINALS

    MJSFA truly believes that you will enjoy your purchase, but if for some reason your original artwork purchase is not a fit, MJSFA offers a “one-time” exchange of the original artwork for another piece of equal or greater value (customer pays the difference).

    MJSFA does not offer refunds.

    Your original purchase exchange must be initiated within 5 business days of receipt if undamaged and in the original condition as when sold. Holidays and weekends are not considered business days.

    Shipping costs are non-refundable. Purchaser is responsible for all additional shipping costs related to the transaction (i.e. the return shipping cost and the additional cost of replacement shipping).

    Please provide MJSFA with tracking information by text or email and return all “certificates-of-origin”.

    In order to return your original painting you must contact MJSFA and ship the painting back directly to “Michael J Seely Fine Art, 250 N 815 W, Hurricane, Utah 84737”.

    If you notify us after 5 business days, we cannot offer you a return or an exchange.

    COMMISSION PAINTINGS AND CUSTOM ORDERS

    Commission paintings and custom orders are not eligible for return or refund as they are “custom-made” specifically for an individual customer. However, MJSFA will cordially and diligently work with the customer regarding commission paintings and custom orders and make every effort to accomplish customer satisfaction.

    I have had no unsatisfied customers regarding commission or custom paintings and intend to have the same experience with you.

    PRINTS

    MJSFA includes a quality guarantee on all prints, including Value Prints, and will replace the print if there is a flaw in the printing process.

    Otherwise, all limited edition, artist prints, and value print sales are final.

    MJSFA does not offer refunds.

    If there are defects discovered, such as damage to the delivered Products, errors in the number or quantity of the delivered Products or lack of quality of the delivered Product, you should provide us with photographic or other documentary evidence of the existence of a defective Product. If we have not received from you a complaint in writing within 5 business days after receipt, we shall have no liability for any defect.

    Your original purchase replacement request must be initiated within 5 business days if undamaged and in the original condition as when sold. Holidays and weekends are not considered business days.

    MJSFA orders and pays for your print as soon as your payment is received. The order is then “custom-printed” specifically for you using the materials available as explained in our PRINT TYPES” section.

    Because some of our prints are limited editions which are sequentially numbered when printed, and all reproduction print types are “custom-printed to order”, we cannot accept returns.

    Replacement prints will be provided without cost “only” when damaged in shipping or there is a printing quality flaw.

    Based on the high quality of the original photos, the materials used in making prints, and the competency of our printer, MJSFA has not had any unsatisfied customers to-date and intends to have the same experience with you.
