RED CANYON STEEPLES

Red Canyon is located along Scenic Byway 12, nine miles outside of Bryce Canyon. If you are planning to enter Bryce Canyon from the west, you will pass right through it. Because Red Canyon is part of Dixie National Forest, rather than a national park or monument, there is no fee to enter the canyon.

I hiked Red Canyon a number of years ago and photographed and painted several scenes. The stunning beauty and stupendous vistas of neighboring Bryce Canyon inspired me to create this choice professional artist piece for home or office.

I’ve added some vivid light on the hoodoos, the foreground and trees, as well as an eagle flying overhead to supplement the natural attraction of these red rock hoodoo formations.

This product includes archival quality protective varnish, and a dust cover and hanging hardware if framed.

Originals are painted using high quality artist grade acrylic paint on double sided, tempered, masonite (hard board) which is very durable and, unlike canvas, will never stretch or flex and crack the paint.
