PARK AVENUE

I was inspired to create this masterpiece while hiking Arches National Park a number of years ago. Arches National Park is located in southeast Utah, five miles north of Moab on US 191. From Moab, Utah, drive five miles north on Main Street/US 191. Turn right at the stoplight. From Interstate 70, take exit 182 (Crescent Junction), then drive south 28 miles on US 191. Turn left at the stoplight.

After passing the visitor center and climbing steeply along switchback roads, the first major area of the park you'll see is Park Avenue and the Courthouse Towers area. You can walk among massive monoliths and towering walls and see views of the nearby La Sal Mountains.

The sheer walls of this canyon reminded early visitors of buildings lining a big city street. The trail to the viewpoint is flat and paved.

Exercising my artistic license, I’ve added light to the red rocks and clouds, seeking to focus attention on the stunning grandeur of this scene.

This product includes archival quality protective varnish, and a dust cover and hanging hardware if framed.

Originals are painted using high quality artist grade acrylic paint on double sided, tempered, masonite (hard board) which is very durable and, unlike canvas, will never stretch or flex and crack the paint. Purchases are shipped directly to the buyer.
