WINTER GRISTMILL

This piece is of an old gristmill in the winter time with the mill race water running through the sluice turning the water wheel which turns the grinder insider the mill.

The snow covering everything, and the light I’ve added to the the mill building and stream are all intended to accentuate the beautiful nature of this frigid scene.

I imaging living or working near such a place would bring tranquil repose to ones life.
