BOUNTIFUL TEMPLE

I was inspired to paint the Bountiful Utah Temple a number of years ago following the death of my brother, Clifford.

Cliff worked for Ralph Smith Trucking in Bountiful and died of a sudden heart valve failure. I was living in Mona, Utah at the time and the hospital called and informed me that Clifford was extremely critical and to come as soon as possible. They couldn’t stabilize him to try and replace his heart valve, and by the time my wife and I arrived he had passed away

I painted this Temple and gave the original to Ralph and Linette Smith whom he worked for and loved.

They did much good for Clifford ( i.e. they affectionately called him “Cliffy” ) including helping him find and purchase a fixer upper Condo to live in. They even paid for Cliffords burial plot near their own family and paid for a very nice “picture headstone” engraved “Cliffy” in the Bountiful Cemetary.

The Temple is a symbol of eternal life as families all living together after this life and this piece as well as Ralph and Linette Smith will always hold a special place in my heart.

This product includes archival quality protective varnish, and a dust cover and hanging hardware if framed.

Originals are painted using high quality artist grade acrylic paint on double sided, tempered, masonite (hard board) which is very durable and, unlike canvas, will never stretch or flex and crack the paint.

Purchases are shipped directly to the buyer.
