IRIS GARDEN PATH - VALUE PRINTS

This painting is of an old home with an iris garden in front of an old fence with the gate partially open.

My liking of and familiarity with old homes with fences, gates, pathways and flower gardens inspired me to paint this serene scene.

The sunlit clouds in the background, the watering can amongst the irises in the foreground, the inviting pathway with the gate ajar, and the roses and other flowers in the middle ground all add to the tranquil ambience of this setting.
