HARVEST DELIGHT - VALUE PRINTS

I was inspired to paint this piece while on a vacation with my son and his family in Pennsylvania many years ago.

We stopped at an Amish road side harvest stand in Lancaster, County and I bought my granddaughter, Angela, a large green apple which she happily took and sat down to eat it on a pallet among some of the largest and most perfect pumpkins I have ever seen.

The Amish farms and landscapes are awe-inspiring to behold. I will always cherish watching Angela, as a little girl, voraciously attack that apple and totally enjoy it.

I’ve added some warm light in order to accentuate the stupendous nature of this setting.
